This is a glorious pub but difficult to find. Its North of the village, best to ask a local. Granite pub with a floor of slate. Very traditional inside, in fact unspoilt. Good quality home cooked food available. Plenty of parking opposite the pub. Stu 8/10 1996

Beautiful old granite pub in the little village of Angarrack. The landlord refuses to use sparklers. Quite right, hence the absence of Trelawnys pride, which the brewery insists on being forced through one. The beer was in excellent condition when we last visited. Good quality home cooked food available. Plenty of parking. Stu 8/10 1996

A village pub by a railway viaduct, not easy to find. Average pub,but a landlord who really knows how to look after his beer. Great pint of Hicks, came back for seconds. I see the pub is not in the 2000 GBG so maybe the landlord has gone. John 8/10 1996

An interesting locals pub overlooked by a viaduct! Pretty beer garden and nice plants inside. Varnished wood tables and a large collection of guide dogs for the blind sponsorship photos. The landlord had an amusingly cynical sense of humour! Sue Sept 1996
